What's New at this Site

This site it is only partially completed.  Development of the picture galleries turns out to be a very time consuming operation.  As of this time six of a proposed eleven galleries are in place: Heron, Egret, Favorites, and most recently the Osprey, Flight, and Shorebird Galleries.  More will come in due course.

Since this site is still under construction, I will be especially appreciative of any comments viewers may have.  All manner of feedback can be helpful as the site continues to develop.  Comments on the photographs are also welcome.  

You will see that many of the images shown are for sale as limited edition art prints (see prints).  However, many are not intended for sale or may be available only on special request.  The latter category include images that may be interesting or fun in the context shown here, but are not photographically of "art print" quality.

July 2013 -- At the suggestion of the book's new distributor, Atlas Books, I started Facebook pages with general information and information about the book and Costa Rica. They can be found at doug.goodell.9 and DougGoodellPhotos.  Both of these pages present many more and newer photographs than I have been able to post on this web site.

May, 2013 --  Nature's Paradise — Costa Rica  was re-released by Nature Arts Press after Brio Books went bankrupt.

December 2011 -- The book Nature's Paradise — Costa Rica is finally available.

June 22, 2002 -- Added a 'Tech Notes' section to include discussion of technical issues.

January 24,2001 -- Shorebird Gallery added, 12 images.

January 17, 2001 -- Flight Gallery added, 15 images.

January 14, 2001 -- Osprey Gallery added, 18 images .

October 20, 2000 -- Site launched with three of the proposed eleven galleries.
