Shorebird Series: "Ruddy Turnstone - No.4"

This bird takes on beautiful colors in the spring (I'm still working on a shot in that plumage). Here the bird stands among polished pebbles and sea weed.  They are attractive in any plumage and usually reasonably accessible. Shot on E100VS film at ISO 180 with a 840mm lens at f5.6 and 1/640sec.
