Shorebird Series: "Least Sandpiper in Marsh Grass"

Brigantine N.W. Refuge, NJ (May)

These very small sandpipers, sometimes called "peeps" are relatively tame so you can approach reasonably closely (but carefully). They tend to prefer grassy areas and tidal pools rather than the open flats used by many other shorebirds. Shot on Provia-F film at ISO 100 with a 1200mm lens at f8 and 1/80sec.

Will be available in sizes up to 11x14.
