Sandpiper (type) at Lovers Key near Big
Carlos Pass (Estero Island), FL (Feb)
This bird, probably a Dunlin in winter
plumage, was with a group of four wading in a tidal basin between Black
Island and Lovers Key. In the open space, close approach was
difficult so the big lens was used -- while I was sinking into the muck. Shot on
Provia-F film at ISO-100 with an 840mm lens at f-5.6
and 1/400sec.
Available in sizes up to 11x14.
Edition limit is 40 prints 8x10 and
larger.
