Heron Series -- "Who Me?"

Black-crowned Night Heron

Juvenile black-crowns, like many young herons, have a highly striped brown and white plumage through the second year.  The top fuzz suggests this is a first year bird. This one was enjoying the handouts at the park. Shot on Provia-F film with a 400mm lens.
