Heron Series -- "Eager for Food"

Great Blue Heron 
at South Venice, FL 

These juvenile herons bring to mind the expression 'only a mother could love". They are clumsy, noisy, and very impatient.  They grow very fast and these will soon fledge.  Velvia film at ISO-50 with a 600mm lens at f-5.6 and 1/400sec.
