Heron Series -- "White Heron"
White Morph of Great Blue Heron at
Blind Pass, Sanibel, FL
The white morph of the great blue is
not very common, but this bird seems to frequent the beach area at Blind
Pass. This use to be called the Great White Heron, but it is correctly a
morph of the great blue. It is a stunning bird. This photo is
included for general interest as it is both poorly exposed and unsharp.
I'll keep working on him. Gold-100 film with a 420mm lens at f-4 and
1/1250sec.
