Great Blue Heron 
at South Venice, FL 

     
Several times I saw this bird stand at the nest framed by the foliage. After waiting what seemed like forever, the chicks finally appear, but only for one shot.
Shot on Velvia film at ISO-50 with a 1200mm lens at 1/250sec.  

Prints are available in all sizes up to 18x24

Edition limit is 30 prints 8x10 and larger
