Egret Series -- "Look Tough"

Cattle Egret  at South Venice, FL 

The smallest and most common of  the egrets, and more of an insect eater than the other herons/egrets. This fellow was stalking around the edge of the lake at the rookery looking for insects in the grass and shrubs. E100VS film at ISO-100 with a 400mm lens at f-9 and 1/640sec.
