Egret Series -- "Snowy in Flight"

Fisherman's Pier, Sanibel Island, FL

Like the previous images, this shot takes advantage of the great opportunities at fisherman's pear at Sanibel. What's especially interesting to me about this image is that while the bottom wing and feet are clipped, the wing and neck positions are like none other that I have captured, and the translucency of the wings is remarkable. 
Shot on Gold-100 film with a 200mm lens.
